The Great Kern County Fair

Isn't he cute when he wrestles steers? I think so too! ;)

The girls, anxiously awaiting the start of the pee-wee rodeo.....

Ride that stick horse, Emma!
Here she is running back to the finish line after pulling the ribbon off of the goat! She came in second place in this event.

Lauren riding her stick horse ....

My little milk maid.....

Ridiculously huge trophy for taking first in the dummy cow milking! :)

So do you enjoy the country life too or are you a city girl?! :)

Well, if by "country girl" you mean "wears overalls and smells like a cow", then no! (hahahaha....this is Sunny's definition!)
Although I was raised animal-less in a city by a mother who fainted at the sight of dirt, I do looooove living in the country and can't imagine moving to town and having....neighbors! ew! ;)
But, you will not soon see me competing in a rodeo or being on horseback....I'll leave that to my husband and daughters!
Howz that for an answer? ;)

That trophy is HUGE! I'm glad the girls did so well! I can't even picture my boys participating in events like that. They'd be clueless, hahaha!
