We decided today was a nice day for carving pumpkins. We grew these {and several others....although not as many as last year} ourselves. Translated: 20+ pumpkins cost us about 10 cents.
I about choke when I see what pumpkin patches charge for one measly pumpkin. I think we're in the wrong business!!
Gutting the pumpkins was both girls' favorite part. Or not.

Soooo cute! I love the pumpkins! And you are a complete liar because you were NOT at the gym this afternoon. We missed you. :)
That IS a cute picture of you!! Oh and next year, I'm totally buying my pumpkins from you. So plant lots. ;)
Ok, I have so much to say. First, tell Lauren that her hair is so, so long! Pretty girl.
And tell Emma that I love her red boots. I think she and I have the same taste in footwear.
You're a good mom. I don't think my mom ever let us actually carve pumpkins. I'm sure she was worried we'd either make a mess or cut ourselves or cut each other or all of the above.
Seriously, you have the prettiest girls in the whole world. And I'm totally not biased or anything.
XOXO
ummmm who went and let your girls grow so much since you last posted pics of them?! LOL!!
And I'm seriously planting pumpkins next year...because I'm beyond jealous of the ones you've grown the past 2 years!!!
HAHAHA! I just read Summer's comment and she TOTALLY ratted you out and I think it's hilarious! =D
I loved your comment "I'm going to the gym later. Probably." LOL So something I would say =) Anyways you looked great. Cute cute cute pictures!
I have to say, those are beautiful home-grown pumpkins! We did not have quite so much success. I think we spent at least $20 just watering the plants, and ended up with five small pumpkins that rotted before Halloween! LOL.
